Sunday Mornings at The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is a safe and exciting place for your children to worship and learn to love Jesus more. K-4th graders begin in our awesome game room. Here they can build relationships with caring adults and other children. We then transition into our big room. Here the kids experience God through singing, games, object lessons, Bible stories and small group time.

The Clubhouse offers two identical services that correspond with the Sunday morning worship services in the Worship Center.

Summer Club Wednesday

Club Wednesday has an exciting new look for the summer!

SUMMER SESSION
June 2-August 25

Each week of the summer we will meet in the gym for a time of boy vs. girl competitions. We will play games and do activities for the kids to score points for their team. To add to the points, kids will be asked to dress a certain way each night.

The kids will also be asked to bring change each week to deposit into their jars for our jar war competition to raise funds for Haiti relief. The kids are being told they need to "work" for their change and do things to help around the house in order to earn their change. Please help us to teach kids the importance of giving back by allowing your child to participate.

Club Wednesday

Club Wednesdays meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Kindergarten-4th graders are involved in interest based classes. There are a variety of classes that the kids can be a part of. Every 5 weeks a new set of classes are offered. Each class is led by caring adults who are skilled in the class that they teach. As a part of Club Wednesday, there is also a designated time where the kids hear a short devotion.

Classes will be divided by grade and each week they will rotate to a different class. You will be able to know where to pick your child up each week by checking the bulletin board in The Clubhouse Registration area.

Clubhouse Kids Camp

Clubhouse Kids Camp will run Monday, July 19 through Friday, July 23 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Our theme this year will focus on fitness, food & fun! There will be fun games, nutritious snacks, Bible lessons and much more!
On Friday, we will take a field trip to Funflatables, an indoor inflatable play center located in Merrillville, IN. We will be taking a bus and will meet at the church at 9:00 a.m. and return at 12:30 p.m. There will be a waiver available to fill out upon registration for the kids camp. Bring a sack lunch with you as well as a pair of socks. PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE FROM THE OTHER DAYS!
Fill out the registration form for Clubhouse Kids Camp and return to Sally Wood. Registration forms are available to download here, http://www.valponaz.org/resources/ or you can pick a form up at VNC. One registration per child. Cost is $25 per child. Make checks payable to Valparaiso Nazarene Church.
Registration deadline for the Clubhouse Kids Camp will be July 11, 2010.
