Sunday Mornings at Praise Planet

Praise Planet is a safe and exciting place for your children to worship. To better serve your children, we have divided the age groups into K-2nd and 3rd-5th. By doing this, we ensure that your children are learning in an age appropriate style. K-2nd graders are led by their children's pastor, Sally Wood. 3rd-5th graders are led by their children's pastor, Diane Sprik. Both age groups focus on the same subject matter but teach in ways that engage their age groups.

K-2nd graders start off by going to their small group time for 30 minutes. Small groups are divided by grade level. Each small group is led by a caring and dedicated shepherd. Shepherds love our children, and are there to assist the children as they begin to make meaningful spiritual connections. After small group time is over, the shepherds lead their group back into the main worship room for a meaningful and interactive experience tailored just for K-2nd graders. During this time, children are able to worship through music, tithes and offerings, games, a bible story, drama and much more. Children can be picked up by their parents from this room when adult worship has let out.

3rd-5th graders enter into their corporate worship time first. During this time, children are able to worship to songs that are appropriate for their age level and lessons that they can apply to their daily lives. After their worship experience, the children are led by their shepherds into their small group time. During their small groups, they are led through an activity that reinforces the lesson they just learned in their worship experience.

Praise Planet offers two identical services that correspond with the Sunday morning worship services in the sanctuary.

Voyage of Discovery

Voyage of Discovery meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00. Kindergarten-5th graders can sign up for interest based classes. There are a variety of classes that the kids can choose to be a part of. Each month a new set of classes are offered. Each class is led by caring adults who are skilled in the class that they teach. As a part of Voyage of Discovery, there is also a designated time where the kids hear an age appropriate devotion and have a snack.

Sign up forms for new classes each month are available at the Praise Planet Registration Station or at the Voyage of Discovery Check-in table! Pick up a form at the church and sign up for one of the exciting classes.
