The Venue is a more relaxed worship experience.

I began my ministry with VNC in August 1996 as the youth pastor. I had been a youth pastor in a couple of different congregations since 1992. While my ministry started out working with students and families, I had also been active in teaching, event planning and mentoring. In November 2004, my role at VNC drastically changed by becoming the Executive Pastor of VNC.
I am a graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University with a B.A. in Christian Education. I volunteer in the community as a chaplain for the Valparaiso Police Department and as a chaplain for the Valparaiso University Football team. I am married to Ashley and together we have two children, Kara Anne (Kiki) and Jake. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to ballgames, sitting in my backyard and volunteer coaching in the many different leagues in which my kids play sports. You can find me on any given day cheering for the Oklahoma Sooners.
