My husband and I met on a blind date while we were both students at Indiana University. He had lived on a farm in Rolling Prairie, Indiana his whole life, while I had attended 12 schools in three countries.
We've been happily married since 1972. Our children, a son and two daughters, are all married now and we are the proud grandparents of seven little boys.
I know what it's like to search for a new church home. Before we came to VNC in 2003 my husband Bob and I checked out a lot of churches. It was important for us to find a place where the Word was taught, where worship was a priority and where we could use our gifts to serve in the Body of Christ. We found all that and more at VNC. It wasn't long before we felt like we'd finally found a home.
In February 2004 I became part of the VNC Staff. My responsibilities include Women's Ministry, Adult Education, 1st Impression Team and Connections.
