I was born and raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and travel back as often as possible.
My husband, Cliff, and I were married in 1980 and along with our 3 oldest children Aaron, Noah and Sarah, moved to Valparaiso in 1994. When we joined VNC in 1996, we jumped in with both feet and have been blessed to be a part of this body and what God is doing in the Valparaiso community.

In 1998 I joined the staff here at VNC. As our ministry team seeks out new ways of connecting our ever-changing culture with the relevant message of Jesus Christ, I find that there is never a boring day around here. I work with a great Facility Staff that keeps me laughing. We have fun as we minister through maintenance, custodial & FAST. (Facility And Set-up Team)

One of the best aspects of my job is 3M (Monthly Maintenance Ministry) a once a month opportunity for volunteers to aid in ministry by helping complete different maintenance projects throughout our facility. I love 3M days. I so enjoy getting to know the folks that volunteer here and hopefully am able to help them get plugged into the "V."

My responsibilities include: A little of this, that and the other thing. I oversee the physical plant, maintenance, custodial & FAST teams, schedule building usage, Cart Ministry, 3M, Kitchen Task Force, & the safety and security of our building.

If you get to know me, you will find I love to cook, laugh, hang with friends and family and ride motor bikes with Cliff (who is a musician and can often be seen playing drums in one of our worship services).

In 2006 we traded in our motorbikes for a 2 year old named Autumn who has changed our world! She makes me laugh more then anyone. We call her our "precious little girl" and she responds with we are her precious "big man and big lady"! We are so thankful to God for the opportunity to raise her.

Our son, Noah, is married to a beautiful gal named Ashley and in 2008 they have made us the proud grandparents of Hannah Rose. She is every bit as beautiful as her name.

To me, the most relaxing thing on this earth is a ship, an ocean and 7 days some place warm! Cliff and I love to cruise and will jump ship when ever we get the chance.

I appreciate the opportunity God has given me to serve him here at VNC and am excited to see where He leads us as we continue to grow, expand and serve Him.
