I started helping in the office and pantry in the mid-90's and became part of the staff in 1999. My official job description was "Juli's helper," and I now spend most of my time working with the database. It's an honor to be a helper and not in charge of anything.

I like working on the computer and doing detailed tasks. When I first started helping Juli in the office, I didn't know how to operate any of the office machines here. Although I had been a legal secretary and worked in a Purchasing Department at a corporation before, I had been out of the workplace for so long that even the telephones were not the same! Slowly I learned new things and gained my confidence with new jobs. This has opened an entire new way for me to serve Jesus. I work on Wednesdays and whenever needed. Again, this is an awesome opportunity for me to be able to serve our Lord and the rewards from working with the staff are equally awesome.
